To inspire couples to embrace the beauty of elopements in the stunning city of Cambridge while supporting local suppliers. With vibrant flowers from Willow And Wreath Florist, a touch of rain, and a heartfelt journey through the city's iconic landmarks, this special day was filled with joy, love, and unforgettable moments. Join us as we delve into the enchanting tale of Sean and Kara's romantic Cambridge City elopement.

Getting Ready at the Gonville Hotel:

The Gonville Hotel, a charming hotel located in the heart of Cambridge, served as the starting point for Sean and Kara's city elopement. With its elegant interiors and beautiful views of Parker's Piece, the hotel provided the perfect setting for the couple to prepare for their memorable day. Kelly, a Cambridge makeup artist, made Kara look absolutely stunning and glowing & Natalie, a Huntingdon hairstylist, crafted a boho-inspired hairstyle. Karas simple yet beautiful dress was from Asos. Meanwhile, Sean wore a dashing grey suit, adding sophistication and timeless charm.

Before setting out to explore Cambridge, me and Cherrelle photographed Sean and Kara on the grounds of the Gonville Hotel with a vintage Bentley, which was just perfect and matched the style of the shoot. 

Punting Adventure in the Rain:

No visit to Cambridge is complete without experiencing the iconic tradition of punting on the River Cam, even in the rain. Thankfully, Scudamore Punting Company was well-prepared, providing cozy blankets to keep the couple and us, the photographers, warm and dry. As we floated gently along the river, the raindrops only added to the intimate ambiance of the moment, creating a romantic atmosphere. 

Strolling through Cambridge City Centre:

When the rain stopped, we went for a walk to explore streets of Cambridge which is full of hidden corners and captivating landmarks offering a unique opportunity to create beautiful photos.

Celebrating Love at the Gonville Hotel:

After an eventful day exploring Cambridge, we returned to the warmth and elegance of the Gonville Hotel. Sean and Kara retreated to a cozy spot and raised a toast to their love, savoring the enchanting atmosphere that surrounded them. The hotel's staff ensured that every detail was taken care of, creating an intimate and unforgettable experience for the newlyweds.

From the preparations at the elegant Gonville Hotel to the romantic punting adventure on the River Cam, every moment was filled with enchantment and joy. The rain, far from dampening the spirits, only added a touch of magic to the day. As the couple strolled through the city's streets, hand-in-hand, and raised their glasses at the end of the day, they knew they had embarked on a remarkable journey, creating memories to last a lifetime.
