Nicholas & Chelsie - Edinburgh City Wedding Photographer
Reading: 3 min
Nicholas and Chelsie’s wedding in Edinburgh was so lovely and fun. They began celebrating at the Edinburgh City Chambers, a historic venue in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. Chelsie looked amazing, and you could tell Nicholas was over the moon as they exchanged their vows in front of their close friends and family.
After the ceremony and confetti, we took a casual stroll through the city to Dragonfly, a cosy pub where everyone gathered for drinks, laughs, and group photos. I had a great time catching all those fun, candid moments as everyone enjoyed themselves.
Next, we made our way to Maison Bleue on Victoria Street, a lively spot with colourful buildings that offered great photo opportunities along the way. At Maison Bleue, everyone settled in for a meal and listened to speeches from Nicholas’s dad and Chelsie’s mom, which brought on some laughter and happy tears. It was clear how much their families cared for them, making the day feel even more special.
Finally, we jumped in taxis to the Voodoo Rooms, where drinks, dancing, and cake-cutting kept the party going. Everyone was in a great mood, really enjoying this big day with Nicholas and Chelsie. This was their first wedding, a small gathering that set up their bigger celebration in France just 12 days later. As a Destination Wedding Photographer, being there to share in these moments was such a privilege even though it took me and my partner six hours to drive to Edinburgh, I loved every second of it and spent a few days exploring Scotland afterwards.
