Chevonne & Guido - Lake Como Wedding
Reading: 3 min
Chevonne and Guido’s wedding at Lake Como was truly magical. Even though they live in London now, they picked this beautiful spot not only because Italy is the best place to get married, but also because Guido’s family lives in the area. They aimed for a mix of elegance, intimacy, and fun, even adding a Vespa ride and a boat photoshoot to the schedule. The Vespa was actually their “something blue.”
The wedding took place at Villa Giulia, a stunning 19th-century villa on the eastern side of Lake Como that showcases local traditions and craftsmanship. Soft green and pink decor blended perfectly with the villa, making every detail feel just right—from the gorgeous flowers to the elegant tables set up with a lovely view of the lake.
Of course, no Italian wedding is complete without amazing food. Guests enjoyed delicious meals prepared by the Pagani family, who run the villa’s restaurant, Al Terrazzo, which is featured in the Michelin Guide 2023.
Everyone, seated on the grand veranda with a lake view, indulged in mouthwatering Italian dishes that made the celebration even more special. The night wrapped up with a cake-cutting and fireworks lighting up the sky over Lake Como—an epic way to end a magical summer evening. Capturing Chevonne and Guido’s wedding was such a pleasure. It was all about love, family, and the beauty of Italian traditions. Being there with Chevonne and Guido is something I’ll always treasure—a true dream come true for a destination wedding photographer.
